Have you every snoozed your alarm an extra eight minutes too long and
now you barely have any time to get ready? I know I have been there
several times! Here are some of my best tips for a quick, yet put together
hairstyle for those rough mornings…
1. Dry Shampoo!– Dry shampoo is my best friend, especially for a refreshing look in the morning. We tend to move around a lot in our sleep and sweat quite a bit, causing more oils to accumulate in our scalp.
Dry shampoo will instantly absorb those oils and refresh your hairstyle from the night before. My favorite is the First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo spray from R+Co!
2. Hot Tools– My favorite way to pull together a hairstyle in the morning is to smooth down the frizziest and unmanageable parts of my hair with either a flat iron or curling iron. The areas I tend to target are right in the front of my hair; bang area, hairline, etc.
I won’t go through the trouble to go over my entire head of hair with an iron, but if I take the time to at least fix the front, I can pull the rest of my hair up into a clean bun or ponytail and hide the fact that my hair is actually a mess in no time.
3. Hair Accessories- Using a hair accessory is probably the easiest and fastest way to look more put together when you are in a rush.
Adding some type of clip or headband will instantly give your hair a cute style!
These types of mornings can be super stressful, but I hope these tips will help you out!
